Sharon Myers

Sharon Kay Myers, 77, died September 15, 2020 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center in Des Moines.  She was born September 27, 1942 to Rex and Lois (Caldwell) Howell in New London, Iowa.  She graduated from New London High School.  She married Robert Myers and they later divorced.  She lived in Sigourney from 1977 to 2007 until she moved to New Sharon.  Sharon served as activities director at the Manor House in Sigourney for over 15 years.  She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and her dog.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Scott Myers, sister Sandy Branch and brother Larry Lee Howell.

She is survived by her children Daniel Myers of Cedar Rapids, Jennifer Myers of New Sharon, grandchildren Tanner Myers, Delani Myers, and Emma Long, great-granddaughter Evalynn, and brother Bradley Howell.

According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending this public event.
