Russell Veach

Russell Veach, 85, died November 5, 2018 at his home in Sigourney. He was born April 11, 1933 to Clarence Raymond and Emma Pfannebecker Veach near Moravia. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1952 and served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. On February 15, 1958 he married Harriet Janet Johnston in Sigourney.  Russell was employed by Mahaska Farm Service until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sigourney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Fern Tremmel, Leona West and Velda Lippard.
He is survived by his wife Harriet of 60 years, son Brian (Jan) Veach of Grinnell, daughter Sharyl (Jeff) Fleenor of Pella, five grandchildren Courtney Fleenor  (Chris Abraham), Stephanie (Dave) Wisnowski, Kelsey Fleenor, Tyler (Deidra) Veach, Trevor Veach two great- grandchildren Audrey Wisnowski, Beckham Veach, two brothers Dale Veach and Kermit (Marge) Veach.
