Louis J. Herman

Louis Joseph Herman Jr. 87, died July 3, 2019 at the Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born November 17, 1931 to Louis Sr. and Marjorie Inman Herman at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He attended country school graduating from Sigourney High School in 1950. He was united in marriage to Peggy Lou Bowers on February 13, 1954, they later divorced. On October 28, 1982 he married Patricia Dietz. Louis farmed and later was an insurance adjuster for Pioneer Mutual Insurance.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, and daughter Anne Marie Lucas.
He is survived by his children Carol (Marty) Hersh, Louis III (Karla) Herman, Marge (Steve) Farmer, David (Michelle) Herman, Jim (Lisa) Herman, one sister Bettie (Bob) Tujetsch of Waterloo, Iowa, and one brother Charles (Linda) Herman of Sigourney,  14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
