Ione Margery Lisk

Ione Margery Pope Lisk, 95, died September 5, 2019 at Sigourney Health Care Center in Sigourney. She was born September 8, 1923 to John and Mabel Rose Pope near Oskaloosa, Iowa. She attended Tioga Country School.  On November 23, 1941 she married Warren Lyle Lisk in Lancaster Missouri. She lived all of her life in the What Cheer area. Ione cherished every minute spent with her family. She enjoyed drawing and working with her flowers.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons Richard (Patty) Lisk, Warren JR. (Sandy) Lisk three daughters Nellie (Marv) Davis, Alice Chatfield and Deb (Dale) Bartholomew all of Iowa, 14 grandchildren, 42 great- grandchildren, 38 great-great grandchildren, 2 great-great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Warren Lisk on August 27, 2001, one daughter Wanita Atkins, three grandsons Frankie Phipps, Mike Phipps and Corey Phipps, and two great grandsons.
