Dorothy Marie Pace, 70, died April 10, 2020 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. She was born August 14, 1949 to Lester and Arlene (Olive) Stanley in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1967 and from the Ottumwa Beauty Academy. On April 22, 1972 she married Donald Pace at the Delta Christian Church in Delta. Dorothy was employed at Taylor’s East High Beauty Shop in Oskaloosa for 27 years. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family, reading, crossword puzzles, eating out, sending cards to family and friends, and making buckeyes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Tim Pace, 2 grandsons Colten Lundy and Dalton Passmore, sisters Ardeth Floden and Mary Ann Smith, brother-in-laws and sister-in-law John (Connie) Pace, and Lloyd Woods, father and mother-in-law Don Sr. and Signe Pace.
She is survived by her husband Don, children Julie (Chris) Lundy of What Cheer, Erika (John) Clubb of What Cheer, grandchildren Kristen (Cody) Foster of Sigourney, Michaela Lundy, Tanner Lundy, Noah Lundy, Braydon Clubb, Dayton Pace, Dulaney Clubb, Kyler Clubb, Jaycee Clubb all of What Cheer, Timothy Curtis Pace of Oskaloosa, great-grandchildren Keira and Kyleena Pace of Oskaloosa, brothers Bill (Lois) Stanley, Charles Stanley, sisters Rita Shipley, Deb (Dan) Cowman, sister-in-laws Shirley Woods, Cindy Hamm, Hilma Bedsworth, Treva (Randy) Smyser, brothers-in-laws Rick (Ida) Pace, Bruce (Lynette) Pace, Tom (Lisa) Pace, many nieces and nephews two aunts Allene Rankin and Donna Krier.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.
