Tim "Tipper" Stevens

Timothy Allen "Tipper Stevens, 52, of rural Delta, died Sunday February 13, 2011, at his home. He was born February 10, 1959, in Sigourney to Allen Dean and Shirley Ann Wymore Stevens. He attended Sigourney High School. He was employed by Groves Masonary of Des Moines, and later at Pella Plastics. On April 19, 1991 he married Cheryl Glassford Finneman in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Tim loved adventure and having fun.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl of Delta, 2 stepsons Scott Finneman of Urbandale, Bryon Finneman of Oskaloosa, his parents Allen and Shirley Stevens of Delta, a step-granddaughter, grandmother Gladys Stevens of Sigourney, 2 brothers Mike and wife Donna Stevens of Sigourney, Bobby and wife Janet Stevens of Rose Hill, 3 sisters Barb and husband Wes Stierwait , Tracy and husband Ron Adreon both of Pleasantville, Melissa and husband Terry Schroeder of Sigourney, and 14 nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday February 18, 2011 at the Delta Christian Church
Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Holm Funeral Home.
