Steve Smith

Steve Alan Smith of Hesperia CA passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was born March 16, 1954 in Sigourney, the son of Donna Braden Smith and Robert Smith. A 1972 graduate of Sigourney High School, he served in the US Air Force from 1972 to 1975. He had worked in construction in Southern California.
Steve is survived by two children, Heather Smith Allaway (Kamell) of Hesperia CA and Eric Smith (Letia) of Coldstring TX, 11 grandchildren, mother Donna Smith Linnenkamp, siblings Nancy Smith ILL, Janice Smith, Larry Smith, Mary Sue Linnenkamp Vannier, John Linnenkamp, Jerry Linnenkamp and Linda Linnenkamp Elliott, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Smith.

A memorial service for Steve Alan Smith will be held Friday, April 24 at 11:30 at the Sigourney Presbyterian Church. The family will be present for visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Lewis Memorial Fountain.
