Ruth Wright

Ruth Elenora Wright, 91, formerly of Webster, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at the Sigourney Care Center. She was born February 19, 1921 in Sigourney to Add and Helen Corellia Vittetoe Stevenson. She graduated from Sigourney High School. On January 18, 1945, she married Derald Wright in Sigourney. After their marriage they lived mostly in the Webster area. She was a cook at the Webster School, then at the Oasis, and later worked a Cooke Drug in Sigourney. She was a member of the Webster Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Catherine Shifflett Northup, Dorothy Lown, and Agnes Berg.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Wright of Monmouth IL., Kenneth "Butch" Wright of Sigourney, a daughter Denise Wright of Sigourney, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Burial - Sorden Cemetery near Webster
Visitation - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Holm Funeral Home
