Roger Dean Ulin

Roger Dean Ulin, 75, died January 19, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City.  He was born August 6, 1946 to Leroy and Nettie (Vittetoe) Ulin in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1965.  Roger proudly served in the United States Army from March of 1966 to March of 1970, during that time he was stationed in Turkey and Ethiopia.  He returned home and farmed with his dad.  For many years he was a handy man around the Sigourney area.  He was baptized and confirmed in the E&R church in Sigourney.  Roger was an avid bowler and enjoyed mushroom hunting, coon hunting and riding his bike around Sigourney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jeanette Adam and Shirley Watson

He is survived by sister Nancy Weber of Sigourney, brothers Richard (Eileen) Ulin of Washington, and Jerold (Vella) Ulin of Lexington, Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.
