R.J. Bird Jr. 21, died June 14, 2008 near Sigourney, Iowa. He was born July 27, 1986 in Ottumwa Iowa to Roger Allen and Lisa Marie Bentz Bird. He attended Sigourney High School. He was employed by Leer Tiling in Keswick. R.J. enjoyed canoeing, fishing, cement work and rooting for the Detroit Lions. He loved each and every one of his family and friends and would stop to help anyone.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Bird.
Those left to mourn his passing are his mother Lisa Bird of Des Moines, father Roger Bird of Sigourney, sister Sarah White of Sigourney, brother Denver Bird of Sigourney, niece Siarah Groves, grandmother Hazel Bird of Hayesville.

Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney. Rev. Billy Claywell officiating.

Visistation 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may be given to the family.
