Ralph Raymond Walsh

Ralph Raymond Walsh, 83, died February 14, 2008 at the Ottumwa Regional Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. He was born June 5, 1924 near Barnes City to Edward and Verlie Colles Walsh. He attended country school in Mahaska County. On October 25, 1947 he married Henrietta Lisk in Oskaloosa, Iowa, she died August 28, 1993. They farmed in Keokuk Country all of their life. He later worked at the University of Iowa Hospital until he retired. He later married Ruth Smith White on. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and had participated in the Greater Southeast Iowa Tractor ride.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Henrietta, four sisters Opal Elam, Verbal Conn, Dorothy Hard, Macel Gilchrist, two brothers Irvin and Virgil Walsh and nephew Lenville Elam.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife Ruth of Fremont, step-daughter Lynda and her husband Ron Dickson of Cedar Rapids, one sister Janice Jones of Belton, Missouri, brother Edward Walsh of Tucson, Arizona, two sister in laws Lenice Walsh of Oskaloosa, LaVan Ketels of Montezuma.

Funeral: Monday, February 18, 2008 at 1:00P.M.
Burial: Tioga Cemetery
Visitation: Sunday 5:00 to 8:00p.m.
