Paul Fisher

Paul Fisher, 67, died March 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 12, 1956 to Virgil and Waunita Walden Fisher near Delta, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1974. On June 17, 1977 he married Barbara Green at the Keokuk County Court House by Judge Dan Morrison in Sigourney. They made their home in Delta. Paul was employed by Kingsberry Homes, Amana Refrigeration, Billman Construction, Louis Rich, Sigourney Foods and later Keokuk Hills as the maintenance person. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Paul enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy (Steve) Van Houweling, brother John Fisher, father-in-law Ernest Green, and brother-in-law Michael Green.

He is survived by wife Barb Fisher of Delta, children Trisha Fisher, Tracy Milford, Todd (Alyssia) Fisher, Tamara (Chris) Stanley all of Delta, Jeremiah Green of Louisiana, and Sierra Green of Guthrie Center, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings Pat (Herman) Myer of Cedar Rapids, Jim (Lora) Fisher of Sigourney, Jack Fisher of Des Moines, Debbie Fisher of Des Moines, mother-in-law La Donna Green of Delta, sisters-in-law Marge (Dan) Stout of Sigourney and Charlotte Fisher of Ottumwa and many nieces, nephews and friends.
