Patricia Muller

Patricia Louise Muller, 66, died March 24, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born March 13, 1959, to Arven Wayne and Sylvia Lou Sherwood Hackert in Sigourney, Iowa. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1977. In 1994, she married Bill Muller in Riverside, Iowa. She was employed at Sheller Globe in Iowa City and retired in 2020. Patty enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, bird watching, traveling and loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bill in 2001.

She is survived by her siblings Mary (Rob) Schwab of Delta, Richard (Sherrie) Hackert of Washington, Darrell Hackert of Montezuma, Gail (Don) Parker of Marion, half-sister Carrie (Jeff) Gier of Nickles, many nieces and nephews, two Uncles Ron (Pat) Sherwood, Jim (Jean) Sherwood and several cousins and special friend Gary Whitman of Morley.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to make a donation to a animal shelter in Patty’s name.
