Nancy Barr

Nancy Barr, 69, of Coralville, formerly of Keota, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. She was born on February 8, 1943 in Washington to William David and Margaret Frances Votruba Vinton. She attended school in Washington. On March 16, 1961, she married Roger Willis Barr at the Baptist Church in Washington. She worked as a CNA in the Washington area. They lived in Keota and moved to Coralville in 2008. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Roger on July 27, 2011.
She is survived by a daughter Christine and husband Paul Williams of Rose Hill, IA., a son Carl and wife Tracy Barr of New Sharon, IA., 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a brother David Vinton of Oskaloosa, IA., 2 sisters Sue Manning of Washington, IA., and Patty Matthes of Tipton.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2012, at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney.
Visitation: After 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Holm Funeral Home
