Nancy Barnhart

Nancy Barnhart, 64, of Sigourney died Tuesday at the Keokuk County Health Center. She was born December 7, 1944 near Parnell to Al and Betty Core Garringer. She graduated English Valley High in 1963. On October 12, 1963, she married Maurice "Barney" Barnhart in Victor, Ia. They lived in Oskaloosa where she was employed at the Elmhurst Country Club. She was a sales supervisor for Lens Crafters in Des Moines for over 20 years. She moved to Sigourney in 2005. She enjoyed flowers, fish, birds and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband Maurice "Barney" of Keota, daughter Kathy Barnhart, son Brent Barnhart, grandsons Brandon and Mason all of Sigourney, sister Tammy(Paul) Summer of Oskaloosa, one brother L.L. "Buck" (Diana) Garringer of Sigourney, father-in-law Dean Barnhart of Sigourney, sister-in-law Judy (Keith) Erwin of Sigourney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law Audrey Barnhart

Funeral service- 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney
Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday
