Myron Bruns

Myron George Bruns, 81, died June 25, 2017 at Parkview Manor in Wellman. He was born March 27, 1936 in Sigourney to Harold "Jake" and Jean Standfield Bruns. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1954. After graduating high school he served in the U.S. Air Force. On August 11, 1957 he married Betty Jackson in Sigourney. Together they lived in New Mexico, Texas, Washington, and Pennsylvania. They returned back to the area in 1992. He was the plant manager of Kingsberry Homes in Sigourney and owned and operated Brandywine Homes in Oskaloosa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty on August 10, 2013, two daughters Jodee Goldman and Debra Bruns.

He is survived by daughter Suzanne Albert of Guernsey, three grandsons Jeremy (Maggie) Goldman of Delta, Jake Goldman of Los Angeles, California, Joseph Goldman of Ankeny, two great-grandchildren Joel and Josie Goldman.
