Mike Bruns

Michael Bruns, 61, died May 22, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids.  He was born July 18, 1956 in Sigourney to Judy Bruns and his adoptive father was Ralph Bruns.  He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1974.  Mike worked in Morrison, Illinois at Stralow Trucking. He lived and Arkansas and moved back home to Sigourney to work at Bruns Inc. He worked at what is now Vision Ag south of Sigourney since 1997.  Mike was a member of the NRA, Sigourney sportsman club.  He loved the Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant and had a deep faith in the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Bruns and niece Samantha Steinhart.

He is survived by his mother Judy Bruns of Sigourney, brothers and sisters Robb (Joyce) Bruns of Fremont, Heidi Bruns of Sigourney, Mark (Molly) Bruns of Oskaloosa, aunt and uncle Kathy and Jim Grant of Baxter, and several nieces and nephews.
