Louise Linder

Louise Anna Linder, 104, died October 10, 2017 at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born February 16, 1913 at the home place on the west edge of Keota, Iowa to Pete and Sophia Klett Haupert. She attended St. Mary's parochial catholic school through the 12th grade. She worked in several private homes for a few years and later took care of her grandparents for 13 years. On November 20th, 1946 she married George Morrow Linder at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper, Iowa. In 1948 they purchased a small farm northwest of Harper where they lived until George's death in 1986. Louise moved to Sigourney on December 8th, 1987.
She was an excellent wife and mother, faithful to daily Mass and the rosary. She was an avid quilter, tatter, seamstress and quilted at the Keokuk County Historical Society. Louise loved working with her flowers and lawn. "Dandelions beware!" She was a member of St Mary Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and D.C.C.W.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Haupert, sisters Gertrude Haupert, Geneva Haupert, Martha Henderson, Margaret Carroll, Josephine Drish, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Sister Mary Anne Linder of Meriden, Connecticut, Martha (Mike) Savochka of Clinton, Iowa, Georganna (Dennis) Krumlinde of Wentzville, Missouri, Sarah Lowrance of Lebanon , Missouri, James (Arlene) Linder of Harper, John (Shirley) Linder of Harper, Therese Kenney of Chandlersville, Ohio, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 6 great- great- grandchildren, one sister Virginia Striegel of Sigourney.

Funeral Mass: Monday 10:30 A.M. Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church, Keota.
Burial: St. Mary Cemetery, Keota
Prayer Service: Sunday 2:00 P.M. with visitation to follow til 5:00 P.M. Holm Funeral Home, Sigourney
