Lloyd Willie Pilcher, 94, of Sigourney, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Keokuk County Health Center. He was born October 11, 1920, in Davis County to Stewart and Maude Hazel Brookshire Pilcher. He attended county school. He worked at John Morrell, the Ottumwa Brick Factory, Martinsburg Lumber, and farmed in the Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Delta area. On November 22, 1983, he married Erma Irene Ruggles McBeth. He was a member of the Delta Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Erma on January 11, 2004, brothers Eugene, Clifford, Forrest, and Dale Pilcher, sisters Syliva Lowe, Lavelle Pickrell, and a son-in-law Lonnie Evans.
He is survived by five step-daughters, Judy (Dave) Wallerich, Sigourney, Joyce (Lavern) Burtlow, Delta, Janice (Larry) Langfitt, Oskaloosa, Janet Evans, Sigourney, Jerlyn (John) Bowers, Sigourney, five step-sons, Duane McBeth, Martinsburg, Forrest McBeth, Delta, Firm (Sue) McBeth. Richland, Fred McBeth, Martinsburg, Perry (Mary) McBeth, Hedrick, 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Delta Methodist Church.
Visitation - Monday July 13, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Holm Funeral Home.
Burial - Mt. Zion Cemetery near Martinsburg.
A Memorial Fund has been established.
