Leo Warnick

Leo Clair Warnick Jr , 78, died July 30, 2011 at the Veterans Home in Marshalltown. He was born March 12, 1933 near Hartwig, Iowa to Leo Clair and Pearl Hazel Katie Ranfeld Warnick Sr. He graduated from Victor High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army. He married Annetta Hawkins and they were later divorced. He farmed with his father and later for his cousin Chuck Ranfeld in the Victor area. He married Edith Adam Hammes on March 12, 1991 in Delta, Iowa. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Elaine Davis.

He is survived by his wife Edith, his children Terry (Julie) Warnick of Victor, Nancy (Mark) Luppke of Freeport, Il., Larry ( Jan) Warnick of Victor, Jerry (Arlene) Warnick of Victor, Gary Warnick of Victor, Jeanne (Tim) McAdam of Fairfax, 13 granchildren, 3 great-granchildren, step-children Patrick (Mary) Hammes of Delta, Betty Jones of Rose Hill, Cheryl (Donald) Bird of Delta, Harry (Carmen) Hammes of Fremont, LeRoy Hammes of Delta, Charlene (Carl) Unkel of Amana, Peter (Patty) Hammes of Sigourney, Mark (Tracy) Hammes of Delta, Daniel Hammes of Auburn, Washington, Deana (Charles) Montgomery of What Cheer, 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren.
