Leo Fowler

Leo Fowler, 91, passed away March 15, 2026, at the Manor House Care Center. He was born February 14, 1935, in Delta to Oren and Mamie (Hicklin) Fowler . He attended grade school at North Honey Grove Rural School located one mile west of his childhood home. He attended high school at Delta graduating in 1953. He married Jackie Ruggles at Fairfield in 1954 and welcomed a son in 1958. Always a farm boy, he farmed the remainder of his life, still helping his son farm even in the past year. Leo also operated Fowler Auction Service for 21 years. He loved collecting and selling antiques, hunting, fishing, working in the fields and most of all, visiting with anyone around.

Those left to mourn his passing is his wife of 72, years, son Michael, 4 sister-in- laws many nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl, five brothers-in-law, two sisters-in- laws.
