Lawrence "Buck" Watson

Lawrence "Buck" Watson, 73, died December 4, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born May 6, 1941 to Lawrence Glen "Lank" and Lucille Adelyn Bond Watson near Rubio, Iowa. He graduated from English Valley High School in 1960. On October 15, 1960 he married Shirley Grace Ulin at St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church in Sigourney. He managed Cassens Mill in Keota and later owned and operated L & W Feed Service in Keota. Buck was an avid musician playing piano, banjo and mandolin, he entertained at many locations in Southeast, Iowa. He was a member of the Hilltop Chapel, 4 Rivers Coon Hunters and love to coon hunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tommy Watson, grandson Justin Watson and one brother Kenneth Watson.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, two sons John (Rachelle) Watson of Williamsburg, Dan (Melinda) Watson of Keota, and daughter Julie (Tom) Klein of Sigourney, 11 grandchildren 8 great - grandchildren, three brothers James Watson of Mt. Pleasant, Gary Watson of Moberly, Missouri, Robert Watson of Ft. Madison and one sister Sheila Chapman of Florida.

Service: Saturday 11:30 A.M. Hilltop Chapel - What Cheer
Visitation: Saturday 9:30 until service time at Hilltop Chapel - What Cheer
