Kenneth Grimm

Kenneth W. Grimm, 82, died February 10, 2017 at Sigourney Health Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born July 16, 1934 to Leslie and Helen Cover Grimm near Millersburg, Iowa. He graduated from Thornburg High School. On December 2, 1952 he married Joyce Stout in Washington, Iowa she died March 16, 2004. Kenny served in the United States Navy from 1952 - 1958 as a Seabee. He moved back to the What Cheer area and was an independent truck driver. On April 25, 2009 he married Dana Bower at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Kenny was a stock car driver for many years in the Iowa track circuit and was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Joyce.

He is survived by his wife Dana, and children Donnie (Sharon) Grimm of Williamsburg, Richard (Ann) Grimm of Marion, Cindy (Chuck) Tandy of Oxford, Dave (Barb) Grimm of Ely, Doug Grimm of Central City, Alan Porter of Sigourney, Kristina (Nathan) Alter of Mankato, MN, Kortney Porter of Australia, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one brother Glen Grimm of Waukee, two sisters Norma Cox of Charles City and Betty Moore of Oskaloosa.

Memorial Service: Monday February 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at The Community Church of Rural Deep River
Visitation: Monday 10:00 -11:00 A.M. at the church
