Keith Eugene Ruggles

Keith Eugene Ruggles, 88, died July 23, 2018, at the Keota Health Care Center in Keota, Iowa.  He was born April 29, 1930 in Coatsville, Missouri to John and Bessie (Mather) Ruggles.  He graduated from Keswick High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On January 29, 1955 he married Darlene Kiefer at St. James Catholic Church in Washington. He farmed in the Keswick area, trucked for Warder and Lee, and later worked at Amana Refrigeration, and retired from the University of Iowa.  Keith was a member of the Keswick American Legion Post 319, Farm Bureau, Our Lady of Lourdes in Keswick, and later St. Joseph’s in North English.

He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene and his parents.

He is survived by three sons Tom (Tina) Ruggles of Keota, Ron (Donna) Ruggles of Oskaloosa, Tim Ruggles of Keswick, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a sister Joann Davis of South English.
