Julie R. Davis

Julie Roberta Davis, 60, died June 1, 2016 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born March 24, 1956 to Roger Gordon and Roberta Kathleen Joesting Hansen in Charles City, Iowa. The Hansen family moved to Sigourney in 1970. Julie graduated from Sigourney High School in 1974. On September 3, 1984 she married Van Scott Davis at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She was employed at Gerard and Neary and was a legal secretary for John Wehr Law Office for the last 25 years. Julie enjoyed reading, The Beatles, camping and most of all spending time with her family and she adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Carole Hansen.

She is survived by her husband Van, son Cody (Lara) Davis of Sigourney, daughter April (Nick) Enslow of Streamwood, Illinois, three grandchildren Jorja and Alivia Davis and Adalynn Enslow one brother Eric Hansen of Burlington and one sister Jean Hansen of Sigourney.
