Judy Bruns

Judithann Sharon Bruns, 81, died January 19, 2021 at the Sigourney Health Care Center in Sigourney.  She was born September 30, 1939 to Clifford and Alice (Isminger) Nicola in Sigourney.  She attended Sigourney High School.  On June 23, 1963 she married Ralph Bruns in Illinois.  Judy was employed at Bruns Inc. and later ran a ceramic and craft store with her daughter Heidi.    She enjoyed volunteering a nursing homes and playing her dulcimer at different community events.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Bruns, son Mike Bruns, granddaughter Samantha Steinhart, and brother Jerry Nicola.

She is survived by children Rob (Joyce) Bruns of Fremont; Heidi Bruns of Sigourney; Mark (Molly) Bruns of Oskaloosa, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and sister Kathy (Jim) Grant of Sigourney.
