Joe Walraven

Joseph Herold Walraven, 46, died March 9, 2021 in Oakland, Tennessee.  He was born July 7, 1974 to Rick and Deneal Bell Walraven in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  He attended school in Oskaloosa and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia.  On February 25, 2006 he married Crissie Yarbough.  Joe was employed as a concrete finisher for many contract companies.  He lived in Oskaloosa, Williston, TN, Olive Branch MS, and moved back to Iowa in 2020. Joe enjoyed cooking, fishing and arrowhead hunting.

He is survived by his wife Crissie of Williston, TN;  his daughter Carleigh Walraven of Williston, TN , four sons Trentin Walraven of Williston, TN; Leland Walraven of Williston, TN; Carson Walraven of Williston, TN; stepson Eian Whitehorn of Bartlett, TN; his parents Deneal Walraven of Sigourney,  and Rick Walraven of Altoona, IA; two sisters April Dumermuth of What Cheer, IA; Sharmin Koppes of Cedar Fall, IA; three nieces Kristina Lawrence, Lindsay (Jason) Awtry- Sandifer, Kyah Koppes and one nephew Cason Koppes, three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
