JoAnne Glandon

JoAnne Glandon, 83, formerly of Hayesville, died Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison IL. She was born on August 26, 1932 in Bremerton, Washington. She attended school in Washington. She was married to Leslie Glandon and lived in Hayesville where she served a post master for many years. She enjoyed spending the summer day outside working with her flowers and garden. She especially loved the company of her many Sheltie dogs.
She is survived by her children, Janis (David) Ipsen of Lone Tree, IA, John (Gail) Massengill of Brown Mills, NJ, James Massengill of Sigourney, Donald (Michelle) Glandon of Clinton Township, Michigan, Daniel Glandon of Hayesville, Jody (Dale) Reisenbigler of Morrison, IL, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and a brother Ronald Townsend of Independence, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leslie, son David Glandon, sister Mary Glavin, and a great-granddaughter Shiloh Roberts.

Graveside service - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Pennington Cemetery, south of Sigourney.
