Jeremy Wilcox

Jeremy Wilcox, 51, died January 28, 2026, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. He was born on May 12, 1974, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Roger and Jan (Wehr) Wilcox. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1993. After high school he attended Indian Hills Community College and graduated with a diploma in welding. Jeremy worked various jobs throughout the years including ACT Inc. and Delong Construction working as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and playing with his grandson. Jeremey was a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Raiders, and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his father Roger Wilcox, grandparents Raymond and Lucie Wehr and Dorothy and Loren Wilcox.

He is survived by his son Travis Wilcox (Carly Reuscher) of Hedrick, grandsons Austin Dison-Wilcox and Luke Wilcox, Mother Jan Wilcox of Sigourney, brother Andrew Wilcox (Amanda Besco), many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
