James Allen Sellers, 64, died June 29, 2019 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. He was born June 3, 1955 to Jack and Lora Lee Strupp Sellers in Sigourney. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1973. He married Cindy Cobb and they later divorced. On June 3, 2000 he married Crystal Lee Allsup at Barnes City Community Church. He was employed by Ahrens Construction and Merit Construction out of Cedar Rapids for 31 years. Jim coached for over 30 years. He was a member of the Hilltop Chapel in What Cheer. Jim was a Green Bay Packer, he loved fishing, hunting and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Sellers.
He is survived by his wife Crystal, daughter Kerry (Virgil) Ollivierre of Baytown, TX, son Jacob (Heidi) Sellers of Stewartville, MN, three stepsons Joshua (Jenny) Wagner of Kearney, MO, Andrew (Shey) Wagner of Lorimor, IA, Ben (Randy) Wagner of Afton, IA, 16 grandchildren, his mother Lora Lee Sellers of Sigourney, his siblings Michael (Naomi) Sellers of Sigourney, Don (Christie) Sellers of Sigourney, Charles (Tanya) Sellers of Sigourney and Brenda (Brian) Smithart of Altoona and many nieces and nephews.
