Imogene Homan

Imogene Homan, 89, died June 12, 2017 at the Manor House in Sigourney Iowa. She was born January 9, 1928 in Grinnell, Iowa to William Clay and Ethel Walton Morgan. She graduated from Webster High School in 1946. On September 4, 1948 she married Edward Francis Homan at the Sigourney Christian Church. She was employed at the Webster Post office and was a bookkeeper for many area businesses including Ed's Electric. She was the Webster's City Clerk for over 40 years and worked at the White State Bank and later H&R Block. She was a member of the Webster United Methodist Church, Red Hats, Webster Card club and Eastern Star. She enjoyed camping, boating, square dancing and traveling. She loved her home and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed on June 3, 1998, a grandson Gabe Homan and a brother James Morgan.

She is survived by her children Larry (Jackie) Homan of Sigourney, Vince (Vicki) Homan of Sigourney, Cindy Homan of Keomah Village, 6 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild, a brother Ronald (Darlene) Morgan of Ft. Myers, Florida.

Funeral Service: 1030 A.M. Friday, Webster United Methodist Church, Webster, Iowa
Burial: Wellman Cemetery, Wellman, Iowa
Visitation: 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Holm Funeral Home
