Henry Robert Williams

Henry Robert Williams, 90, died November 12, 2018 at the Northern Mahaska Specialty Care in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  He was born July 28, 1928 in Rockwell City, Iowa to Robert and Florence (Kephart) Williams.  He attended school in Sigourney and served in the United States Army as a medic in Japan and Korea. On June 26, 1955 he married Marilyn Jean Mattison in Keota.   Henry was employed at the Natural Gas Pipeline for 27 years.  Later he owned and operated Williams Guns and Coins in Harper retiring in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, children Roxa Lee and Jay Dean Williams, sister Freda Bowers, and two brothers Alfred Kleinmeyer and Charley Newhouse.

He is survived by son Paul (Christine) Williams of Rose Hill, granddaughters Amanda (Brian) Reinier of Ollie, Holly VanVoltenburg of Sigourney, and 10 great-grandchildren.
