Greg Mitchell

Greg Mitchell, 51, of Sigourney, died Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Keokuk County Health Center. He was born June 5, 1968, in Fort Lewis, Washington, the son of James and Marlene Joan Waldron Mitchell. He graduated from Tri-County High School in 1987. Greg served in the United States Navy. He worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in the area and at Clow Valve in Oskaloosa. He liked to watch movies, play video games, and collecting outdoor wildlife pictures. Greg had a knack for remembering obscure things.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father Jim Mitchell of Keswick, and his brother Jason Mitchell of Sigourney, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Friday graveside service at the Springfield Cemetery

Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Holm Funeral Home.
