Georgia A. Davis, 86, of Rockaway Beach, Missouri, formerly of Delta, passed away Friday March 5, 2021 at the Riverview Manor in Ozark, Mo. She was born December 27, 1934 in Hayesville, Iowa the daughter of James Hart and Evelyn Tucking Hart. She attended country school before moving to Delta and completing the 10th grade at Delta High School. On January 6, 1951 she was united in Marriage to Allan S. Davis in Ft. Pierce, Florida. They became parents to Peggy Ann Miller (now deceased), Polly Ann (Dan) Lucas of Sigourney, and James Allan Davis of Wichita, Kansas. Georgia enjoyed being with her family and many friends. She also loved playing board games, bingo, and going to the casino. She worked for years as a waitress, never meeting a stranger. The last several years she worked as a Grandma Volunteer at the Prairie Ridge Primary in Branson helping the preschool children. She loved that job.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Peggy, great-grandson Wyatt Miller, Sister Beverly Lonsway, and two brothers, Don Harris and Merle Harris.
Those left to celebrate her life are her daughter and son-in-law Polly and Dan Lucas; son James; seven grandchildren Jason (China) Lucas, Jeff (Shar) Lucas, Danielle (Pete) Brodersen, Ira Miller, Corey (Mary) Miller, Joe (Pam) Miller and Ammie Miller; 12 great-grandchildren Johnathan, Alec, Isaac Brodersen, Adalynn Lucas, Lela and Grace Fort, Morgan Miller, Peggy, Eli, and Kassidy Miller, Amar’e and Treyvonn Miller.
Burial will be at a later date at Sixteen Cemetery
