Eugene Weber

Eugene L. Weber, 72, died February 9, 2016 at University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born January 15, 1944 to Raymond and Bessie Henry Weber near Keota, Iowa. He graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1962. On February 5, 1966 he married Virginia Ann Vittetoe at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Harper. They lived and farmed southwest of Harper. In 2004 they moved to Sigourney. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Eugene enjoyed fishing, John Deere tractors, playing cards with his family and friends watching his grandchildren in their actives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Hubert Weber.
He is survived by his wife Virginia, and their children Michael (Susan) Weber of Harper, Melissa (Steve) McCreight of Winfield, Marlin Weber of Sigourney, Mark (Kim) Weber of Sigourney, eight grandchildren Kenyon, Kevin, Katrina and Sky Weber, Cody McCreight, Keaton, Kyle and Karson Weber, two brothers Raymond Weber of Beacon, and Martin Weber of Yorkville, Illinois and one sister Mary Kline of North Liberty.

Funeral Mass: Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney
Burial: Holy Trinity - St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Harper, Iowa
Visitation: Friday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the St Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney
Prayer Service: Friday 4:00 p.m.
