Ernest L. Green, Jr

Ernest Leonard Green, 92, died October 15, 2015 at the Manor House Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born February 2, 1923 to Ernest Leonard and Elva Beall Green Sr. near Hedrick. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1940. He was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank in Des Moines. On February 2, 1945 he married Rosemary A. Kennedy in Fulton, Illinois. They moved to Sigourney in 1990. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on October 19, 1993 and a brother Edwin Green.
He is survived by his sons Allen (Judy) Green of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Charles (Dorothy) Green of Pleasant Hill, six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church

Prayer Service: Sunday 4:00 P.M. with visitation to follow at the Holm Funeral Home, Sigourney

Burial: Calvary Hill Cemetery Fulton, Illinois
