Elizabeth Lucile Aldinger, 92, died June 16, 2016 at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born November 11, 1923 to George C. And Ida Pearl Spiess Wallerich in Sigourney, Iowa. She graduated from Sigourney High School 1941. During World War II. Elizabeth went to Denver, Colorado and worked at Gates Tires. On April 2, 1950 she married Rodger Aldinger at the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church in Sigourney. She was employed at Goley Bakery, Kingsberry Homes and later was a cook at the Manor House. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church, First Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rodger on April 10, 2002, son Kirby Aldinger, two brothers Leo and Dale Wallerich, three sisters Gladys Haugen, Virginia George and Barbara Wallerich.
She is survived by her grandson Mark Aldinger of Blakesburg, two brothers Gene Howard (Carolyn) Wallerich of Washington, David (Judy) Wallerich of Sigourney and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, Holm Funeral Home, Sigourney
Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery
Visitation: Monday 5:00 - 7:00 P.M
