Douglas M. Decker

Douglas Malcolm Decker, 46, died December 31, 2008 at his home in Iowa City. He was born February 1, 1962 to Wayne (Swede) and Donna Jean Bruns Decker in Sigourney, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1980. Doug moved to Iowa City to work for Quality Care and later at Goodwill doing janitorial work. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, Iowa Hawkeye's and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willard and Georgian Decker, Bernadeen Bruns.
Those left to mourn his passing are his parents, two sisters Lori Alderson and husband Darrell of Sigourney, Amy Hemsley and husband Ross of Keota, grandfather Malcolm Bruns and his wife Irene of Sigourney, three nephews Jason Alderson, Scott Alderson, Nathan Hemsley, great niece Hannah Alderson, great nephew Brock Alderson.
