Dennis Stevens

Dennis James Stevens, 55, died Wed., Oct. 13, 2010, from injuries due to a motorcycle accident in Loveland, Colorado.
Dennis was born on Nov. 21, 1955, the son of Clifford and Gladys Luntz Stevens of Delta. He graduated from Sigourney High School with the class of 1974. He worked for a brief time at Amana Refrigeration in Middle Amana before moving to Denver, Colorado where he worked as a licensed plumber. Dennis enjoyed hiking and camping in the mountains, snow skiing, woodworking and riding his motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Pierce) Stevens; two daughters, Mariesa (Nathan) and Angela; his mother, Gladys Stevens, formerly of Delta; a sister, Colleen Crenshaw of Denver, Colorado; a brother, Allen (Shirley) Stevens of Delta; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Stevens.

Funeral services were held for Dennis on Oct. 20 at the St. Francis Cabrini Parish in Littleton, Colorado. He was buried at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
