Connie Denny

Connie ReNea Denny, 68 died November 27, 2025, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney surrounded be her loving family. She was born April 29, 1957, to James Robert Dean and Jean (Hartman) Hem in Ottumwa, Iowa. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1975 and later graduated from Buna Vista College with a teaching degree. On June 18, 1988, she married Todd Denny in Ottumwa by the Des Moines river. She was employed at Kids and Company, Delta Senior Center as a substitute cook, and Miss Sue’s and Kirkwood Community College as a driving instructor. For the last few years, she has been employed at 10-15 Transit Transport. Connie loved her kids and grandkids very deeply. She loved reading, crocheting, and was very talented at making crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Brandy Glattfelder, niece Kristen Denny and nephew James Denny.

She is survived by her husband Todd, daughter Sarah (Kyle) Gardiner of North Liberty, son Tyler Denny of rural Delta, 3 grandchildren Alanna (Zach) Custard of Columbia, Missouri, Aidyn Parker of Sigourney and Julia Gardiner, brother James Robert Hem Jr. of Ottumwa.
