Betty Wickenkamp

Betty Ann Wickenkamp, 88, died December 29, 2023 at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born January 23, 1935 to Charles and Florence Lantz Sharp. She attended rural schools in Ollie. On May 11, 1950 she married Walter Henry Wickenkamp at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Clear Creek. They lived and farmed south of Sigourney all of their married life. She was a farm wife and stay at home mom. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.  She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and later Saint Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter on May 12, 2017, son David, one infant grandson, and two infant great-grandchildren one brother Tom Sharp and sister June Sharp.

She is survived by her three sons Dale (Linda) Wickenkamp of Ollie, Steven Wickenkamp of Oskaloosa, Dean (Donna) Wickenkamp of Brighton, nine grandchildren, fourteen great- grandchildren sisters Irene Langford of Washington and Beverly Wickenkamp of Washington. ,
