Betty Bruns

Betty Lorraine Bruns, 74, of Deep River, Iowa, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. She was born December 3, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa to Claire Everrett and Gertrude Northup Jackson.
She graduated from Sigourney High School. On August 11, 1957, she married Myron Bruns at the E&R Church in Sigourney. They lived throughout the United States, and lived from time to time in Sigourney. They returned to the area for good in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two daughters, Jodee Goldman, and Debra Bruns.
She is survived by her husband Myron of Deep River, IA, daughter Suzanne Albert of Deep River, IA, three grandsons Jeremy, Jake, and Joseph Goldman, two great-grandchildren, Joel and Josie Goldman, and two brothers Raymond Jackson of Ames, Iowa, Rex Jackson of Davenport, Iowa.

Graveside service - 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Garrett Cemetery near Delta
