Almeta Stein

Almeta May Stein, 95, died September 2, 2016 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born April 21, 1921 to Walter and Stella Parkhill Ulin near Delta. She attended Sigourney High School. On September 3, 1949 she married Clayborn H. Stein in Lancaster, Missouri. They lived and farmed Southwest of Sigourney, she moved into Sigourney in 1995. She was a member of the Laffer Club and attended the Sigourney Christian Church and the Sigourney Presbyterian Church. She loved, the outdoors gardening and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayborn on July 30, 1973, granddaughter Julie Reinert, two brothers Charles Ulin, and John Ulin.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene (Steve) Reinert of Davenport, son Eugene (Peggy) Beasley of Sigourney, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a sister Juanita Cook of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
