Milford E. Walker

  Milford E. Walker, 86, of Sigourney died February 15, 2011 at the Oskaloosa Care Center. He was born October 14, 1924 to Rollie and Circe Allen Walker near Middletown, Iowa. He graduated from Agency High School in 1942. On February 15, 1948 he married Mary Frescoln at the Batavia Methodist Church. He farmed near Batavia, moved and farmed near Hedrick in 1956. He farmed until his retirement in 1991 and they moved to Hedrick. In 2004 they moved to Sigourney. He was a member of the United Methodist Church Sigourney.                
  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jon Walker, one brother Sherman Walker.
  He is survived by his wife Mary, three sons Jim and his wife Carol Walker of Carmel, Indiana, Joe and his wife Peg Walker of Hedrick, Jack and his wife Susan (Midge) Walker of Sigourney, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, Three brothers Russ Walker of Arizona, Wayne Walker of Clinton, Jack Walker of Marshalltown.

Funeral Service: Friday 1:00 P.M. United Methodist Church
Visitation: Thursday 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church
Memorial: Keokuk County Hospice or his Church
