Timothy
Mark DeWeese, 51 of Olathe, Kansas died Friday, October 8th,
2010 resulting from a motorcycle accident. Visitation will be
Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. and funeral services will be
Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. at Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney, burial
will be at McCormick Cemetary at Highland Center.
Timothy Mark DeWeese was born on January 11, 1959 in Iowa City. He is
the son of Norman and Ruth DeWeese of Delta and the late Mary Jane
Wilkins DeWeese. He grew up in Humeston and attended high school at
Sigourney High School. He enjoyed fishing, sports, Kansas City
Chiefs, Iowa Hawkeyes, riding motorcycles and spending time with
friends and family. He worked construction most of his life and
was currently employed with Midwest Power Wash. He is survived by
his son, Jeremy Mark DeWeese of Des Moines, his parents Norman and
Ruth DeWeese of Delta, brothers Ed (Audrey) DeWeese of Moravia, Mike
(Kim) DeWeese of Sigourney, and sisters Terri DeWeese of Des
Moines, Julie (Mike) Wolf of South Dakota, Ronnie (Gail) Wilkins of
Burlington and step-siblings Dianna (Don) Hill of Missouri, Bob
Chambers (Bonnie) of Pakcwood, John Chambers and Dick Chambers of
New Hall. And will be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces
and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Wilkins DeWeese, and
brothers Craig Allen DeWeese and Brian Keith DeWeese.
A memorial fund has been
established.
